I had a bag (*thinks* perhaps this bag) lost by an airline in Italy once while on a three week, three country stint in Europe.

Figuring out what size you wear in European isn't easy at the department store in Torino when you speak no Italian and the employees speak no English.
(I think I still have one of those shirts)
