Cena is the top of the hour promo. Gets the same half cheers/half boos reaction. Cuts a serious Memorial Day promo initially. Then says that's he's back on Raw and that the "new era" must go through him.
AJ Styles' music hits and he goes to the ring. They stare down for a few minutes as the crowd does a huge Let's Go Cena/AJ Styles chant for, like, 2-3 minutes. Styles says welcome back to Cena, and that though they've been in "different worlds" he definitely respects him and they shake hands.
Anderson and Gallows come out, and say that while they went their separate ways last week, this isn't the AJ they know. They get closer to the ring and it looks like it's about to be a 2v2 brawl. Cena does his thing where he tosses his hat and then takes off his shirt, throws it into the crowd and turns around into a clothesline from AJ. Big three-way beatdown on Cena ensues. Some of the crowd obviously loved it but there were a decent amount of boos from the swerve.
