B2 - if a college wants to give Chewbacca mom's family college scholarships for a YouTube video (or, more acuurately, for going on TV and talking

about her faith), that's their business.

But at the same time, scholarships are supposed to be about some sort of achievement by the student going to college. Is a viral YouTube video an achievement? By the student?

And I'm also thinking about the WSJ article that SB posted yesterday - universal income benefit to provide a basic minimum + civil society fulfilling the remaining needs. This is a good example of how a small government/large civil society is still going to favour some causes/groups over others, and not do a more effective job of ensuring things like access to higher education.
