some of the earlier fan speculation was a lot more creative than what ended up happening. And after all the arse-kicking the Waif laid on Arya all season it was somewhat dissatisfying. Who knows - when you don't see someone die on GOT they may not be dead. Maybe The Waif's not dead. And neither is the Blackfish.
