I remember when my job had to purchase some body armor...that was among the most interesting purchases I ever did.

we were building a road in Croatia, and ever so often, the monsterously large trucks would hit a landmine.
Mostly nothing would happen since these were monsterously large trucks, but ever so often, it wouldn't be flush and stuff would fly out.
Our operators wanted protection. Exporting body armor to a former war zone....Traffic and Logistics enjoyed that.
