What I mean is that everyone needs that space, whether or not they are marginalized. It's why rich people have country clubs.

Obviously I'm not saying the experience of being gay and the experience of being privileged is the same. But everyone wants a place where they feel like they can relax, enjoy themselves, be around similar people and be away from their normal cares.
