On the one hand, yes. On the other it shows that 1) his "jihadist" link are tenuous and 2) that the FBI could use more tools like being able to block

certain individuals from buying guns or being alerted if certain individuals on a watch list are buying guns. They can't watch people forever and they seem to have checked out the claims pretty diligently.
