I wish people would stop misusing "lynch mob." that's not what's happened here.

no one, who's sane anyway, is suggesting laws not be followed when addressing the judge/the sentencing.

there are good reasons for the judgment to be looked into, enough that it's not just regular people asking for it, but many in the legal community up through the attorney general of california.

it's not just the sentence, the judge's own words are part of what has caused the attention.
