the sentence can only be appealed if it's unlawful, which it wasn't. so it's just recall, state assembly impeachment, and possible censuring/removal*

in the mix - plus just sliding until his next election.
there have been local news stories that it's been increasingly tough to get jurors for his other cases, as people are saying things about him/that they don't trust him, etc. that may play along with pressure for him to resign.
*I'm not sure if you saw me mention last week, after seeing a post of yours, that there is a state commission on judicial performance - they can censure/remove, but it's subject to review by the state supreme court.
