They're not very bright if at this point they think they're going to win the White House. It has to be to try and protect the house and senate

at this point because otherwise there's no point in holding up the nomination.
If Hillary wins before Garland gets a vote than I can almost guarantee Obama pulls him back and lets Hillary pick someone.
