What was the dumber move? Jon Snow charging towards the Bolton army after Rickon's death or Ser Davos ordering the men to go in after him?

Jon wasn't surprising. He's always acted like a Stark in these type of situations. Charge ahead for vengeance, good and honor even if it means certain death.

I thought Ser Davos had learned a lesson in blindly following Stannis no matter what he did, though. Add to that, the orders AFAIK, were to bring Ramsey to them. If Davos were faithfully following his commanders orders, shouldn't he have stayed put?
