In response to "GoT Thoughts on the Battle of the... (spoilers)" by Mel Profit

What I meant by derivative was (spoils)

the firing of arrows by the evil ruler, not caring if he hits his own troops just like Braveheart.

The shield wall, and wall of bodies being an obstruction, and battle tool like 300.

The camera work felt fresh, but some of the battle mechanics mentioned above were rehashed.
