she's right, because as you said it might have prevented the death of hundreds of men to mention that a friendly army was marching to their rescue possibly but...she's spent all the time leading up to this battle trying to tell Jon that he should listen to her.
I think she made her point. I think it's the only way she could make the point. Above all else he prizes duty to his men. The point will not be lost on him that had he listened to her just a little bit it wouldn't have gotten that bad.
