Y'all might have accidentally been put into the "heroes combat game." Happened to me, too.

It's the fourth choice (after Quick Play, Play Against AI, and the "create your own" option), and I clicked on it on a whim for a few games. In one game, both teams were all Soldier 76. In another game, my team was all Soldier 76 and the other team was all McCree.
