to me, there's a big difference; and intent matters, too. making choices about how details are relayed, not to censor but

because it's what perpetrators want, what drives copycats and more.
when we know that part of the reason, sometimes the primary reason, some of these mass shooters act is for notoriety, for self-aggrandizement, their image and name being out there so much is playing into that. along with that, the focus being more upon criminals than their victims sucks.
