racist and feeling bad about it. I think the same thing applies to sexism. None of us are immune to bias and prejudice about almost everything. Recognizing the thoughts and trying to deal with them is the best we can do (at this point) to fight it. So yeah, Hillary sometimes grates on me as well for reasons that if I think about it are really sexist. I recognize that and go back to focusing on the substance. I know many strongly feminist women who react to Hillary that way too. But making that the basis of your views of her as a candidate are where it crosses the line. I think not enough people think it through to the realization of the bias that lies underneath. So you can not like Hillary as a candidate for reasons that are not sexist, but I do think that it's folly to suggest that sexism isn't playing any role even in your own views.
