He was our best draft pick, our first homegrown team captain, our youngest captain, and he's held that spot for more than six years. In combination with Seth Jones, a lot of the core we thought we'd have for years is suddenly gone. Hockey analysts universally agree we made it up in volume, but it's still a lot to take in.
