What fascinates me is how popular (and important) Subban is to the Montreal community.

By making that trade, the GM has to realize he's going to have U-Hauls at his house.
Poile indicated he got an offer during the draft. He spun it over for several days before agreeing. I don't know if that means Montreal originally asked for more or if he really didn't want to trade Weber.
