He was all over the place, but 2 key highlights:
He praised Saddam Hussein for killing terrorists and noting that Hussein "didn't read them the rights."
And he accused the sitting Attorney General of the United States of taking a bribe from a Presidential Candidate

Yes, he was an awful leader and human being, but taking him out in 2003 caused a lot of the stink we have now -- nm
