ST is smarter: Why would my apartment's oven cause the circuit breaker to flip?

I put in a notice with the complex on 6/20 about it, got home found a work order receipt that doesn't specify what the problem was or how it was corrected.

But yay stove worked again.

Tonight, stove stopped working. Boo! Curious, I start looking for the circuit breaker. Do I even have one? Do I have access to it if I do?

It's in my big ass closet, no wonder I didn't know it was there. Sure enough, flipped circuit. I hesitantly turned them back on. Stove works again.

Am I doomed?

The oven could be having a short, or it could just draw more power than it's supposed to. Try reversing the polarity. -- nm - Beryllium Jul 5, 20:47 3

If I run my microwave while my living area A/C window unit is running it's 99% sure to trip the circuit. - ty97 Jul 5, 20:45 1
