page 60 has the on/off-type settings, that look a lot like regular cruise control except with more warnings including serious ones, than regular.

at least in my experience. (of cars that don't have those sensors, which they state shouldn't be relied upon at all.)
that just cements for me that it needs to be explicitly encouraged, if not more, for drivers to educate themselves in advance of use.
