I said this on a BB earlier, from my friends who are police, they work in neighborhoods where they see...

these neighborhoods everyday, and the crimes that go on everyday, and they seriously describe them as "animals".
So they deal with crime daily from people who are killing each other daily at a high rate, with little regard to each other's age, race, sex, social status, etc...., they kill each other just because they are in the wrong part of town, or they look at them wrong.
Of course they are going to view those type of situations differently than if they were patrolling an all white area with less crime of that nature.
It takes a certain kind of evil person to lure a young child into an alley and execute them.
