Refresher: who was the antagonist in Batman Begins? Spoiler: no, not him.

A smart filmmaker tells the backstory of Harley Quinn through dialogue and exposition. A DC filmmaker buries her in the shadow of a more famous character.

The entire point of the Suicide Squad is that they're the disposable nobodies. Adding The Joker into that mix misses in two critical ways.

DC needs to take the keys away from Nolan and Geoff Johns and give them to Gail Simone. She's just smarter.
