This reminds of of when I was in High School. The local ABC affiliate here in Portland had a 1 hour delay on Monday Night Football. ONLY for us.

I stopped watching and listened on the radio. Dumbest thing ever. That was before the internet which would have spoiled the shit out of that.
They got so many angry letters and still did it for years and finally stopped.
