Nope. Powering Up and Evolving are 2 different things. When you look at your Pokemon's page...

you should see 2 options.
1 to power up and 1 to evolve.

My Pinsirs only have the Power Up option (I see evolve on some other types). What's the difference? -- nm

They are already at their highest evolution. Look in the Pokedex for each Pokemon and it will show you the evolution chain -- nm
