Jeremy Saulnier's Green Room is really good, fwiw (not really very much that is spoiler-y)

i especially love two things about this movie:

1) that the desert island band that Alia Shawkat's character picks is Poison Idea, who were Portland's greatest hardcore band of the 1980's

and

2) that the actual band who played the music for the punk band in the flick is named Hochstetter, which is a hilarious call out to a Nazi Gestapo guy in Hogan's Heroes.

along with that, this flick is constantly surprising and inventive for a siege movie, and i've seen a million of 'em. not every note hits right, but they are all honest.
