1. Catch Pokemon using Pokeballs
2. Get Pokeballs (and other gear) at Pokestops
3. Transfer duplicate Pokemon back to the professor from their Pokemon info screen to get 1 candy for each. You do this to...
4. Evolve Pokemon using Candy. Pokemon that can Evolve will have "Evolve" on their info screen
5. Pokemon that cannot evolve further you can Power up using candy and stardust

You should also check your Eggs tab and make sure you have an Egg incubating for every incubator you have so while you're walking you get credit for the km

    - Evolving them gets a good amount of XP so you might want to do that. Generally though from what I'm seeing with my son who is a much higher level - oblique Jul 14, 06:20 3
