Dear Dan,
I’m delighted to be sharing the news that my new book, DARK MATTER, is coming out on July 26.
DARK MATTER is my first book since the conclusion of the Wayward Pines trilogy over two years ago, and I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever written. It’s an epic sci-fi thriller that—if I’ve done my job right—will take you on the same kind of ride my Pines books did, only better. More big ideas, more twists and surprises, more emotion.
We’ve all heard that first stanza of Robert Frost’s poem, "The Road Not Taken": Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both… I created a character, a physicist named Jason Dessen, who actually gets the chance to travel both, embarking on a thrilling, harrowing journey of survival, self-discovery, and ultimately the search for love and the definition of home.
The dedication in DARK MATTER reads: “for anyone who has wondered what their life might look like at the end of the road not taken.” So, if you’ve wondered that, then this book is dedicated to you.
