I think the one thing that helps them is the next Trump won't be as odious or popular

Trump is in a small subset of hyper-successful (image-wise) businessmen. He's in a smaller subset of egomaniacal assholes.
The Venn diagram of those 2 has very little overlap.
Most successes are more measured and organized; most assholes will be culled for being assholes.
Mark Cuban could be that type of guy, but even he isn't nearly as asshole'ish and he seems a lot more relatable.
