from bb, I learned some D&D and had some materials and such when I was in 6th grade. ssc:

I did it because I had a crush on a classmate who played. he's the guy I've mentioned grew up to be a comics creator, mostly historical stuff. he was a talented artist, even back then. I also read some "conan" and maybe some fantasy books because of him. /ssc

on the positive side, that brush with being "that kind of girl" made me so uncomfortable that I never really did it after that. I tried some shared-interest/"that looks like it might be fun to do together" kinds of things, but that's less cringey.
