and we played the Dungeon! board game that night for what seemed to be hours. loads of fun. later, in 7th grade, a guy in class who would become one of my best friends in school introduced me to D&D proper and i've played off and on ever since...
one of these days, i'm going to get back into it again for an extended period of time. i have all sorts of ideas for a long-term campaign setting.
