aww. I'm going through some old misc. files, and I just found some letters from texx when he was in jail.

some of us corresponded with him back then, to help him keep going. (I have no idea why I had them in a work folder!)

these are from 2003. in one, he mentions he was pleased he had been able to start working on a road crew for 50 cents an hour, which allowed him some niceties; and he was really happy the work was up in the mountains and outside.

in another, he offered his condolences for my kitty k.c.'s death and said he'd give me a hug if we were talking in person. (his mad skillz with the ladies, dontcha know, heh.)

so long ago, and I still miss him. he was such a character and such a good part of st. :( -
