Battery saver is still there for me. The distance thing should be returned once they fully roll out the game everywhere and stabilize the servers.

It worked for the first day when I played but was broken quickly. As long as they don't have that working they should have been cool with the tracking sites. Right now you have to wander all over to try and find the Pokemon you're looking for and those apps made it easier. Once they get the in game tracker working those sites should go away.
