if you were 22 and dating a 17 year old, yes. if you're 35 and dating a 30 year old, no.

i dated someone 8 years younger than me briefly and i i had to end it, but even though he was probably more mature than me, at the time his age *number* freaked me out. it probably wouldn't now.

(ps: Dave is more than 7 years older than me, and it's just not even a thought.)
