my rep here is surely being the most cynical guy around, but the olympics? it's all positive, as far as i'm concerned. i set aside the corruption, the problems, the cheating. i love the competition. i love the sports i don't watch except every four years. i love the athletes challenging themselves and others.
there's really nothing better than an american athlete winning gold in thrilling fashion or an athlete from a smaller country that i've never heard of just being proud to compete.
