heh, the Australian census is all supposed to be done today, and they sent forms to literally every house in the country saying 'do it online'

the outcome is exactly as you'd expect: census website down all day. seriously, what'd you expect when you asked 9 million households to go to the same place at the same time?
they've also asked people to stop calling the help line 'due to a high volume of calls'. see above.
