The complaints I'm seeing are mostly around how shallow the game is (ie: stuff is basically the same on every planet, just recolored)

there are similarities (the bases are all very similar), but the worlds are vastly different. Any complainors are just nitpicking ninnies -- nm

I came VERY close to drowning in a cave last night. I've had two deaths so far, space pirates and a gaggle of sentinels on a high security world. -- nm

That's actually the kind of thing that really interests me. Finding X that means I have to go get Y and Z to be able to work through it -- nm

You can straight up buy resources too, via aliens and/or trading portals. -- nm*

yeah. While I accept that trading is a part of it, I'm actually finding myself more interested in personal resource gathering

I think if you wanted to play like that, you could, but I also think you'd be robbing yourself of the full experience. -- nm

I jumped into the ocean on a planet and the water was so toxic it killed my shield in less than a minute. Space pirates got me twice -- nm

I had one really toxic pool of water, but I had to dive to get to a monolith. -- nm

*shrug* 18 gazillion stars, each with multiple planets. It'd be impossible to make unique flora/fauna on each one.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it will bother me either. The only other thing I noticed from watching a few people was just the "where do I get X" for certain

that can be frustrating, but is part of the learning curve. People need to learn the symbols from the scans and also realize not every element is on

the last part is the part that's probably hardest. It would actually be nice if there was (or maybe there is) a kind of planetary scan

Haven't see gold yet. I do like that there was only one species of hostile wildlife on my planet though and it was a crablike creature.
