the carpeting. I am really interested in houses that already have hardwoods. But again, a house for that price in that location is worth looking into.

Could you check if the carpet is covering hardwood? Lots of people did dumb stuff like that in the 70s and 80s. -- nm - Reagen Aug 11, 10:05 1
- Yup that was our house. The hardwood was nearly pristine too. One or two patch jobs but really all we needed to do was sand and stain. -- nm - spamlet Aug 11, 10:09
