it took a long time for me to get to this, esp. for shows I had watched for several years; but it really is freeing. -- nm

same with my feeling compelled to be a completist for books.
I did watch the final ep or few eps of a couple of series I finally gave up on, and I'll skip to the end of a book to see if there may be value in plodding through if it's plot and not writing that is bugging me; but those are still time and aggravation savers vs. watching/reading more.
