bell, someone found a really easy way to get it to show, which puts paid to spotify's lame most recent explanation that few people used it (despite the thousands of messages on their boards about it being missed, those apparently just weren't enough), as if it's a hard thing to maintain.
since it was still showing in the browser version (but way more time-consuming to use), we knew it had to be somewhere. even though it hasn't been 100% reliable, it sure was better than alternatives - I haven't received e-mails in many months (spotify cs was the suck about helping with that) and phone notifications are spotty.
