I have to watch this show. Didn't pay attention closely, but got the sense it was a "bad conviction, but likely the right guy" scenario. -- nm

        One of the things that was always suspect about this though, was that Avery was not tried on the same theory of the case that Dassey was. They did - pmb Aug 12, 13:53 2

        They were tried separately with different juries. It is legal. It's sleazy, but legal. However, I wonder if Brendan Dassey's confession was used as - pmb Aug 12, 14:10
