From what we saw he was clinically a moron who would have literally said anything. Like Ron Burgundy reading off a teleprompter.
And I doubt he was present at the murder.
The one question I always had was that if she was raped and butchered in his uncle's bedroom how come there wasn't any of her DNA? If you stab someone there's going to be blood everywhere. Especially if you cut their throat as I think the prosecution suggested.
But I know the show didn't include all the facts so I wonder still.
