The "big" piece of evidence excluded from the show was Avery DNA found on Halbach's RAV4.

but it turned out the forensics dude who had just processed Avery's personal vehicle didn't change his gloves when he started on the RAV.
all of "smoking guns" that were allegedly left out of the show have been well debunked at this point.
