Well, we don't really spend money well..

There's no or very little support to individual athletes.
That's one of the reasons I'm always rooting against our football teams: football, as a sport, smothers the support for all other sports (with the likely exception of volleyball nowadays).
That said, we underperformed a bit against expectations in Judo, seems to be underperforming in Sailing, but we have always performed better on the second week, as that's when most team sports give medals.
