Does anyone here make their own pickles? Would you mind sharing the recipe?

We have 20 cucumbers from our garden sitting in the fridge. Time to make the pickles!
I'd prefer a recipe that doesn't involve proper canning/water baths etc. If you have a quick and easy one, that's best. Thanks!

I use this recipe. They are quite sour though. Also really easy to pickle are jalapenos -- (edited)

a suggestion. make a small batch [1 jar] to check flavors and do a bigger batch a day later when you know how much garlic peppers, etc you really need -- nm

I'm planning to try this recipe. Friend of mine knows David Barber (the author) and she swears by this recipe. -- (link)
