I'm not sure I've ever eaten at the Summit Inn but the Chevron gas station across the parking lot has been a regular gas stop since field school days. Our school supplied a Chevron gas card so we used to fill up the vans there.

It's also almost exactly an hours drive from my place on a good traffic day and a good place for a quick restroom stop. Or on the way home if you're afraid you might get caught in traffic once you hit the city.
