Well, he has to live on campus for year 1 and the residence halls close at the end of the school year. So, he can't exactly go get a place...

You never know how things might go. At least in my case, it was a hard battle for my parents at the time but I ended up moving back home after frosh

Living on campus as a freshman I really think is a good idea. As a sophomore it's more of a convenience thing. My younger daughter had a great setup
