Here's what's so dumb about it - he's only 22 miles from our house. He's a mile from my office...and yet, that doesn't matter.

Bottom line is that he's moved out and we'll have him back for the summer - maybe 2 summers.

But ultimately - after 18 years - we're just...done.

And as much as I look forward to Carrie and I having adventures again - just the 2 of us - this is still kind of a bummer.

        Living on campus as a freshman I really think is a good idea. As a sophomore it's more of a convenience thing. My younger daughter had a great setup - pmb Aug 18, 09:03 1
