I read a bunch of his posts, don't remember them all in their entirity, but I think he specifically states he doesn't know if the other guy is guilty -- (edited)

or not, so he's not really defending the guy, per se, but speaking out against the "listen and believe" mentality that has so many people "convicting" this guy based on an anonymous accusation.

And, from what I understand, the accused comic has hired legal counsel.
