From B2: I hate that everyone expects you to run Sunsinger if you're a Warlock.

People playing other characters, it's just wipe and try again (or try and finish it without them). Use anything other than Sunsinger and people ask you to switch even if you aren't getting killed.
On Oryx, sure, Sunsinger is probably best. Especially with the orb generating setup someone showed off recently (20 orbs off of one radiant melee at the start of Crota raid). Totems probably as well, but you should be able to do it with anything. For Warpriest, Voidwalker is best, for Golgoroth it's Stormtrance.
Of course, it's been a while since I've done the Oryx raid.
